I pad all of my laptop sleeves with closed-cell foam and line them with a luxurious red velvet-y material - like a jewel box for your computer! for this one, i used a really cool silver/grey vintage upholstery fabric for the outer layer. it has a nice subtle sheen and is seriously stain resistant.
